Virtual camping, a little escape in your browser

A shared campsite without the packing

What is virtual camping?

Virtual camping brings the scenery and atmosphere of a campsite into an online space. Sometimes called online camping or cybercamping, it lets you take a small break among trees, stars, and a fire without traveling or setting up a tent.

In Bulmeong, you explore a real-time 3D campsite as an animal avatar. Take a seat, listen to the crackle of the fire, wave to another visitor, or carry a log to the shared campfire.

More than a campfire video

A video plays a recorded scene. Here, you can walk around, choose an empty chair, and watch the fire up close. When you add a log, the fire changes for everyone in your room. Other visitors can also see your animal wave or send a heart.

There are no scores or competitive goals. Stay for as long as you like. With no chat window to keep up with, you can share a quiet moment through gestures or simply watch the flames.

Choose your camping scenery

Quiet Forest is a clearing among pines and fireflies. Moonlit Beach has palms and moonlight over the water. Snowy Forest surrounds a cozy cabin with falling snow. Starlit Summit looks over clouds and passing shooting stars.

Preview the scenery on the home screen and choose an available theme. Themes have separate camping spaces, and visitors are assigned to rooms with an available place.

A simple virtual camping break

There is no checklist to finish. If this is your first visit, try this gentle way to explore.

  1. Choose a landscape and an animal, then enter the campsite.
  2. Take an empty chair near the fire and set a comfortable volume in Menu.
  3. Watch the scenery and add a log when the fire gets low.
  4. Wave to another visitor or use the camera button to capture the scene. When you are ready to leave, open Menu and select Leave campsite.

Visit from mobile or desktop

You do not need a separate app or a VR headset. Use touch on a phone or a mouse on a computer. If your device struggles with the scene, lower the graphics quality in Menu.

An internet connection is required for the shared campsite. Sound pauses when the screen is off or the browser tab is hidden. The campfire guide explains movement, sound settings, and how to reconnect.
